         Puerto Pollensa
My advice is to take public bus into the Palma city - you will then need tochange at the bus station for a coach up to Puerto Pollensa. It is cheaper than taking one of the airline buses and much cheaper than takinga taxi which some people do. Spain - Andalucia
Marbella - Costa del Sol Spain
After so many stories about Marbella , Spain and especially the Andalucianprovince by a variety of friends and relatives, this summer i finaly managed tovisit Marbella myself. I have to agree with them, it is a superb holidayexperience. Marbella and it's harbour Puerto Banus are seriously buzzing in thistime of the year. The Marbella micro climate makes it possible to max out all 24 available hoursin a day. Chilling out during the daytime in the simmering sun on the palm treebordered beaches, tan....

Barcelona weekend at Barcelona apartments by LC
We came to Barcelona as a family and were in desperate need of a affordable quality place to stay. These LC apartments are really cool. The staff was very helpful. They are a bit small as they are studios but fully equipped.

         Picos de Europa
Picos de Europa is a mountain range to the north of spain. Lots to see and many walking tracks all over the place. The best time to go is mid-March to June or mid-September to October as it can be very hot in mid-summer. You should be able to find somewhere to stay on the internet without to much trouble.

         Stay in a private apartment
We heard that you can find private accomodation really centrally and pay a fraction of the price of the surrounding hostels. We found out because we went to a hostel which was full but gave us the address and number of an English and Spanish guy that rent rooms next door and who they always recommend. The flat was great and typically Spanish with high ceilings and big rooms. It was really good value as well and the guys very friendly and useful for tourist info and translations. The area i.... Salamanca - see the greatest Plaza Mayor in Spain
Salamanca was the European City of Culture and Heritage 2002 and there are a lot of good reasons why! The Plaza Mayor is by far the most impressive in all of Spain. Plus the City has TWO cathedrals a collection of churches and convents a Roman Bridge, theHouse of Shells, and there is also the university with the famous Frog as well. Everything is reallyclose together so it's all easy to find. Spain - Gibraltar (United Kingdoom)
         Gibraltar
A part of the United Kingdom, on a good day you can see Africa from the south tip of Gibraltar! Everything here is typically British, red post boxes, royal coats of arms, pints in pubs, fish and chips and the pound. Climb 'the rock' and get a look at the only native monkeys in Europe! | Spain |
