The domain has heated swimming pools and spa's and other attractions. Behind the spa pools is located the world's only hot soda water geyser, which plays about every half hour. The height the geyser rises to depends on the weather but normally it spouts 3 to 4 metres into the air, for 3 to 5 minutes.

Nelson and Surrounds.If anyone is wondering what to do with children in New Zealand I would highly recommend a visit to Nelson at the northern tip of the south island. It is a comfortable and interesting 6 Hours drive north from Christchurch (with a lunch break and several scenery stops). It is also just across the bay by ferry from Wellington should you wish to come that way. i just did my trip round nz and these were the best two things i found. i did abus tour with flying kiwi and that was amazing if you are into the outdoors anddont want to spend a fortune. i also did some wofing (working on organic farm)which gets you free accommodation and food in exchange for doing some basictours - awesome way to see beautiful palcesw

wow just back from a tour of the south island of new zealand, its all you expect and more, breathtaking scenery, exciting adventure sports, and whales thrown in for good measure. We travelled with a beautiful campervan with all you needed and more besides, friendly service and extremely helpful. Some of the bigger companies out there cant possibly look after you the way southislandtravel.com did. Recommend them to anyone.
