Location: This is about 10 mins drive from Denizli.

The terraces are extremely beautiful. It is open all day from about 8am till around 6pm. You can spend as long as you want here during the day. There is plenty of places to walk, there is also a large thermal pool for a swim with lovely settings. There is also a nice walk up behind the terraces with Roman remains. Be careful of all the people trying to sell you stuff. Plenty of tour buses run from the tourist areas also.

If you visit Turkey, seeing the sights in Istanbul is required. The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Museum and the restored cisterns, built by the Romans and still in use, are not to be missed. A atrip to see Cappadocia and surrounds are well worth the trip. There are Many Roman ruins and Greek theaters spread out over western Turkey, well worth the visit. Too many interesting ruins to count, including undernwater ruins on the Turquois Coast.Turkey was a wonderful adventure.

VISTI THE WAIRAKEI TERRACES IN TAUPO, NEW ZEALAND, THEY HAVE CREATED SILICA TERRACES USING UNDERGROUND GEOTHERMAL WATER, THEY LOOK SIMILAR TO THESE TERRACES BUT THE WATER FLOWING OVER IS VERY HOT
