Location: Buenos Aires is a beautiful city but if you are a tourist you´d better find a local person to help you. This site is non commercial so you can write to me for further information.

When I was planning my trip to Buenos Aires I found a nice lady through the Internet who lived in the city and she offered to help me. I was a bit reluctant at first because I prefer to do things on my own whenever I go abroad but I decided to give her a chance. It was the best choice I could have made. She showed me lots of places off the tourist circuits and taught me about the argentine culture and people. I dislike going to those spots especially for tourists and she was wise to take me to the suburbs so that I could have a great chance of seeing the real city. She even found a cheap accommodation for me and took me shopping to shops away from downtown where I got a much better price. I can give you tips about my stay, info about the places I visited. No matter what your plans are, I suggest you get a local person to assist you. [email protected]

Hi, I am new in the world of travelling, so please bear with me. I am heading off to Argentina in a few weeks time. I've never been to South America, and i don't speak spanish. I have my accomodation sorted out already. Other than that i am not sure what else i should be doing. I'll be spending most of my time in place called "Mercedes corrientes." Have you been there before? Are there any tips/advice you can offer? Thanks, Christian.
